Co-Working
“The opportunity to focus on boring but necessary paperwork/office type stuff in an accountable way - and doing it the day before the creativity day - doing it together with others… everyone found it encouragingly focusing, and that they could stay on track instead of running away or just drifting… Five stars rating!”

Zoom Studio & Zoom Office
Free Co-working Sessions
Zoom Studio, on Tuesday afternoons, has become a real anchor for a handful of regulars — three hours of dedicated time to paint, read, edit, write, or simply be in the studio, bookended by a short check-in at the start and end of the session.
But creative headspace often depends on clearing the practical stuff first — admin, emails, accounts, planning, that one phone call you keep putting off. So Katie has added a second session, Zoom Office, on Monday afternoons, to help get all of that out of the way at the start of the week.
Both sessions run on the same simple principle: you show up, say a few words about what you intend to do (a quick round of hellos, ten minutes max), then get on with your own work — cameras on, mics off. At the end, everyone reconvenes for ten minutes to share what they got done. It's simple, but it works: most people find they get far more done, and stay more present and focused, than working alone.
Use the time however suits you — admin one week, studio work the next, or both.

ZOOM STUDIO Co-Working Space
On Tuesdays 3pm-6pm FREE
In the spirit of generosity, openness and sharing accountability and focus - if you want to join me and others for your own studio practice in the afternoon all are welcome to an open space on Zoom. We say hello, a brief word about what we plan to do, and then work quietly by ourselves until 5.50-6pm when we meet to say goodbye, and chat about how we got on.
Cameras on (you don’t actually need to be visible), mics off so we don’t disturb each other. It’s really just for the company and the accountability - for some of us it’s the only way we can really commit to focus on our work!
