REGULAR ONLINE CLASSES
I use drawing to help me see the world better,
rather than look at the world as a way to make my drawings better.
Teaching is a fundamental part of my life and practice, sharing my own path of personal development with the intention of helping others find theirs. Interwoven with my meditation practice, I bring a unique combination of stillness and listening, along with sensitivity and curiosity when it comes to ideas and materials, awakening the senses through meditation, experimentation and play, in order to create the right conditions and space for creativity to flow.
Drawing and Meditation is the gift of precious time to recommit to your practice, devoting just as much time as you can during this week. Step into a gentle daily rhythm designed to help you focus, slow down, and reconnect.
There will be a broad theme for us to work with. Through simple creative exercises and meditation, you’ll develop a steady routine that cultivates presence, deepens attention, and supports your creative growth, whilst connecting with others in a small online group. All you need to do is show up, twice a day if you can, the rest will unfold.
DRAWING AND MEDITATION - Regular Classes
These sessions are for non-artists and artists alike. Think of it as you might a yoga class, a time to nurture yourself, to come away feeling nourished and enriched. Simply allow yourself to be held, and guided for an hour, with no expectation.
I will lead a simple meditation and drawing exercise to help stimulate creative contemplation. Suitable for all, all are welcome. You don’t need to bring anything except a selection of basic drawing materials (a pencil and pen would be enough, perhaps a stick of charcoal, some coloured pastels, inks, or watercolour) and paper to draw on.
If you are not sure if it is for you, you are welcome to try your first session for free.

MONTHLY MEET-UP
The weekly Drawing and Meditation sessions are kept as a quiet, open space — somewhere you can drop in whenever you need, without preparation or expectation, and take what you need from that hour. That quality is worth protecting.
The Monthly Meet-Up is something different. Once a month, this is a chance to hear each other's voices — to share what the sessions have brought up, what has stayed with you, and how the themes have moved through your life and your work. It is a simple format: introductions, a round of reflection on the month's theme, and some time for open conversation. No preparation needed, no pressure to speak at length.
It is a space for community to form — and for Katie to hear what resonates, which has already begun to shape new workshop ideas and deeper explorations of themes that matter to many of you.
Monthly on Tuesday 10.30 - 11.15am (after the morning session) and 6 - 6.30pm (before the evening session)
These session are free and open to anyone who attends or has attended the Tuesday Drawing and Meditation classes. Just use the regular Zoom link for the class to join.

An ONLINE week of Drawing and Meditation is a precious a time to recommit to your practice and devote as much time as you can during this week. Each morning we will meet for a guided meditation session with a prompt to give you focus for that hour, or indeed the whole day. Each afternoon we work in our own spaces, with cameras on, audio off, in a quiet, focused co-working space. At the end of each day we meet for an hour to talk about our day, and what we might need for the following day. The discussions, connections, and shared inspirations are as much a part of the week as any individual projects you might have going on. The space becomes more than the sum of its parts. All you need do is show up, twice a day if you can. The rest will unfold.
